Kiya King-Green

Director of Resident Services

Kiya King-Green is a Trenton city resident and has worked in the field of education for over 20 years, including distinguished instructional practice, execution of train-the-trainer models, as well as mentoring and coaching as an educational consultant. Her professional experience began as a public-school educator for the Trenton Board of Education, although her passion and skill working with children developed long before. In addition, Ms. King-Green successfully launched and operated an after-school and summer enrichment program for children and families in the East Trenton Center.

After resigning from the Trenton Public School District in 2015, Kiya began homeschooling her children. Due to the rising interest of like-minded parents, she opened the doors of her homeschool to include other local children who could attend daily. This led to the foundation and operation of her own virtual, distance learning institution for homeschooling families across the country, as well as working with instructors internationally.

Ms. King-Green holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University, and a Master of Educational Administration and Supervision with principal and supervisor certifications from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
