Chairperson

Gary Gentry has been a member of the THA Board of Commissioners since 2007, and he was once again elected Chairperson in 2023 after serving in that capacity from 2010 to 2015.

 

He is a native of Trenton and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1969. Following his graduation, he joined the family business, Gentry Fuel, and, a few years later, joined the United States Navy. He was active in the Navy for three years and remained in the reserves for six more years. After leaving the Navy, he returned to the family business for a short period of time. Mr. Gentry then started his own business, G & B Heating and Repair, and in 2000 opened the Galley Restaurant in Trenton.

The Application Process

Complete your pre-application

During this phase, we confirm your eligibility with a series of background questions so we can place you on the list for one of our communities.

Complete your full application

When you are at the top of the housing list, we work with you to confirm all HUD and THA eligibility factors. All adult family members living in household must complete personal declaration and information release forms. Then you get to meet with THA staff to review, finalize and sign your application. Once you’re approved, we can schedule your move in!
