Cherie Garrette has vast experience with business innovation, management of financial resources, and management consultant for specialty contractors and small businesses. She is knowledgeable of the policies and procedures in the private sector, as well as municipal, state, and federal governments. She is skilled in budget and grant operations, compliance, monitoring, financial analysis, capital commitment planning, reimbursement, procurement, business strategy, process improvements, developing employees, supporting peers, and advising senior management.

 

She is presently a Fiscal Analyst Auditor-Special Services with NJ Department Law & Public Safety, Division of Administration.  Ms. Garrette has worked with community members on varied social issues and with commercial construction projects for specialty contractors.

 

Ms. Garrette is an alumnus of Trenton Central High School and she attended Rider University, where she earned degrees in Finance and accounting. Ms. Garrette also attended Rutgers University Center of Government Services, where she completed the Certified Municipal Finance Officer program.

The Application Process

Complete your pre-application

During this phase, we confirm your eligibility with a series of background questions so we can place you on the list for one of our communities.

Complete your full application

When you are at the top of the housing list, we work with you to confirm all HUD and THA eligibility factors. All adult family members living in household must complete personal declaration and information release forms. Then you get to meet with THA staff to review, finalize and sign your application. Once you’re approved, we can schedule your move in!
