Pre-Apprenticeship/Apprenticeship Program
The THA currently recruits all eligible Mercer County Board of Social Services recipients to participate in its Apprenticeship Training Program. The Authority Apprenticeship Program is a minimum four-week course in Life and Employment Skills training. Once a candidate successfully completes the course and meets the criteria, which includes a good attendance record, that candidate may be offered employment opportunities. The Trenton Housing Authority serves continental breakfasts and lunches daily and offers formal graduation ceremonies at the end of each session. Classes are held daily at the THA Administration Building.
